The Sinclair DM235 is a compact battery-operated digital multimeter housed in a robust slim-style case. Its design makes it equally suitable for portable applications and bench work, having a large LED display with an exceptionally wide viewing angle. The instrument will measure AC'v and DC— volts, AC'v and DC— Current, and Resistance in a total of 21 ranges, plus 5 diode test ranges. The display reads to ±1999 with automatic indication of polarity and automatic placement of the decimal point. Indication of range overload is also provided. The DM235 will operate from disposable cells (4 x C size) or from an optional AC adaptor. This adaptor also serves as a charger when the optional rechargeable battery pack is fitted.
