The Johnson Viking Kilowatt Amplifier is designed to meet modern communication's demand for a self contained r. f. amplifier capable of CW, AM, and SSB operation over a frequency range of 3*5 to 30 megacycles. The unit incorporates a complete power system and modulator in addition to an amplifier rated at 1000 watts input with provisions for reduced power on CW and AM operation. Tested engineering techniques have been applied to its design and TVI reduction. Each unit is completely adjusted and tested on all bands at the factory before shipment is made.
