Information
The Model
7062 is a 50Ω RF scanner card that plugs into a
mainframe scanner such as the
Keithley Model 705 or Model
706. The Model
7062 incorporates two sets of 1 X 5, 1-pole
switching. Each set has its own common (ground). The Model
7062 has channels which are unterminated when not connected
from one channel to another. The insertion loss at 500MHz is
less than 3dB. Since there are two 1X5 switches, each having
its own common, two signals can be routed through the card
simultaneously. The 1X5 switch can be cascaded with another
1X5 switch for a 1 X 10 switch with minimal loss of
frequency response. There are several switching schemes that
offer flexibility from the Model 7062. Refer to Section 2
Operation.
Specified relay life is greater than 100,000 closures.
Cables are routed from the rear of the card. The front of
the card plugs into the mainframe (e.g. Model 705 or Model
706). The mainframe operates in the matrix mode or 2-pole
mode in order to control the channels. BNC connectors allow
easy connection to input/output signal paths.
