Machine 12W211 has a high arm, a flat bod, and a
horizontal-axis sewing hook. A stop motion device permits
the operator to stop the machine instantly with the needle
bar up, having a working space ol 1 inch from bottom of
needle stripper bar lo top of throat plate. The machine has
no feeding mechanism and is used for tacking coat pads and
shoulder pads, and for basting heavy coats.
