In order to do this, however, it must be securely anchored in the ground in a manner sufficiently strong to withstand the worst probable weather conditions. Since soil is a highly variable and unpredictable substance, there is no reliable way to foretell its load bearing capacity without making extensive tests at the actual site. For this reason, the customer must assume responsibility for providing construction suitable to the site selected, and for complying with all applicable laws and building codes. We strongly recommend you obtain the advice of a local engineer or contractor before starting any work.
