This manual consists of the chapters and appendices listed below. They are
divided by tabs.
Performance Tests. Provides the procedures required to performance test
Adjustments and Correction Constants . Provides procedures for adjusting
after repair or replacement of an assembly. Some of the adjustments update
constants stored in the EEPROM on the A1 CPU. The correction constants are
using the adjustment program (PN 04291-65003).
Overall Troubleshooting. Outlines the Analyzer
troubleshooting, and provides
procedures to isolate the faulty functional group. Faulty assembly isolation
each functional group are contained in the remaining trouble shooting
Digital Control Troubleshooting
Service Key Menus. Documents the functions of the menus accessed from 4
SERVICE MENU . These menus allow you to test, verify, adjust, control, and
analyzer. GPIB service mnemonics are included.
Theory of Operation. Explains the overall operation of the Analyzer
functional groups, and the operation of each functional group.
Replaceable Parts. Provides part numbers and illustrations of the replaceable
miscellaneous chassis parts, together with the ordering information.
Replacement Procedures. Provides procedures to disassemble portions of the
certain assemblies have to be replaced.
Post-Repair Procedures. Contains the table of related service procedures.
This is a table of
adjustments and verification procedures that must be performed after repair
of each assembly.
Appendices. Contains the manual changes information (required to make this
compatible with earlier shipment configurations of the analyzer) and the
Messages. Contains the service related error message list.
